Band KARMACODA have shared their latest single ‘Fire’, an emotionally charged work that reflects on vocalist Jessica Ford’s experience with heartbreak and letting go of a love that wasn’t supposed to last. We all have had relationships or experiences, where we knew there wasn’t a future involved but yet can still look back with fond memories. ‘Fire’ acknowledges that some relationships are not always built to last, and KARMACODA displays this with grace and charm.

Jessica Ford shares additional thoughts on her personal love story:  ‘Fire’ is about a historical relationship with the deepest desire, a fire that could not be put out. I would drive to the East Side, blinded by love. Nothing else mattered. We used to take limo rides and rendezvous to see each other. It was a seductive, romantic time that started the hottest fire. We knew we couldn’t be together back then as we were “just kids playing truth or dare”, games in love.”

A refined listen, the band explore R&B and soul textures further in this Sola Musa Music release much like the recent preceding release ‘Fly By’. Consisting of three remarkable talents, this band share rich and warm soundscapes despite speaking on heavy matters of the heart.
