ZOCO’s ‘Diamond In The Rough’ Captures a Lullaby for Grown-Ups

play all visit

If ZOCO’s first single ‘Restless‘ was an energetic departure from the ordinary, Diamond In The Rough‘ is the reflective pause that follows. With its dreamy arrangement and lyrical focus on real connection, Marco Zocco‘s newest release is a sonic exhale.

Set in Milan, the song is a narrative of emotional maturity. Co-written with brothers Paolo and Matteo, and shaped by a production team that includes Gunnar Nelson, Kerry Brown, and Carmine Rojas, the track balances vintage tones with modern sheen. Marco’s vocals are introspective but never indulgent, drawing comparisons to 90s icons like Eddie Vedder.

From its ambient guitar intro to the lullaby-like layering of synths and harmonies, the song feels sculpted rather than built. The upcoming EP LUMANISTA (Part 1) promises to expand on this blend of pop, rock, and cinematic storytelling. ZOCO is building a catalogue with care—and it shows.
