The Burma have shared their new song ‘Sleepers’, which, like a summer romance, is a moment of unadulterated bliss. Charged with exuberance, The Burma sings of hardship and second chances. Fresh out of doom n’ gloom, their light approach to the heavy subject of self-sabotage is refreshing and relatable. The band seems to know that this is an issue many of their listeners deal with. The Burma have composed a song that cuts right to the core, illustrating the healing power of music.

The Burma give us insight behind-the-scenes, saying: “Sleepers is one of those rare songs that came together very quickly once we started writing it. The lyrics and melody seemed to flow as one and before we knew it, we had a single on our hands. It feels like a song that was just waiting to be written and we were just lucky to get it down when we did. It’s probably our favourite track on the album.”

The night is young and full of adventure. Where will it take you? Outside amongst friends, drink in hand, you look up to see her standing there, hair swept artfully to the side as she dances to the beat of the blaring Indie-rock band. Her smile is infectious and so is ‘Sleepers’ via The Burma Music. This 3-minute party will have you on your feet in no time!
