How has your musical background helped shape your sound?

I don’t think my musical backround has helped shape my sound more than my
getting out and experiencing the world. I think I am still discovering my sound and
style as I go.

Congratulations on the release of ‘Brazilia’ ! What does this single mean to you?

Thank you kindly! This single was always a track that I felt really excited about
sharing. It is definitely an excavation into some pretty emotional moments in my
past and releasing it into the world has been a way to forgive and forget, and love
myself and remain grateful for every experience.

What are or were some of the challenges for you in producing or performing while keeping true to your vision of your music?

I think the biggest challenge is not getting swayed to do anything you don’t feel is
true to you, whilst allowing yourself to allow the creative journey and process to take
you to new exciting places in your artform.

Who are three musicians you think the world needs to hear right now?

Ry X, Devendra Banhart and Hermanos Guitierrez

Is there any “non-musical” ingredient that is essential to crafting your sound?

“Faith”

Breakdown the news for us: what can we expect from you in the near future?

With a bit of luck – A chance to perform in the EU & US.
