Are you ready for something Magical? I sure hope so because today we are premiering emotive songwriter Cimo Fränkel’s brand-new single by that very name. The record will be available tomorrow under Cimo Fränkel / 100th Meridian Music / AWAL.

Working wonders, the singer has named the King of Pop, yes, Michael Jackson, as a major inspiration behind his work, which we can hear in the care with which the multi-platinum-certified musician delivers his lyrics, brandishing a deft voice and striking passion. A ‘remembering’ of the good time spent between lovers, the new offering ties into a theme the songwriter has been writing about for some time now. In search of a specific feeling, he tells us that ‘Magical’ is “basically a follow-up emotion to ‘Closed The Door’.”

He has hit his mark: Magical’ captures the aftermath and remorse felt when the winds of change have calmed and the skies have cleared enough for ex-partners to miss the love they once shared. It illustrates “the recognition of the value of a relationship that comes when the storm settles,” as the songwriter puts it, describing the post-breakup blues.
