Larusta released his thrilling new single ‘Scattered’ on September 13th. The London-based artist is the frontman for alternative rock band Larusta & The Dead Dogs. He is set to release his debut solo album The Life You Save May Be Your Own on 15 November.
‘Scattered’ emerged during lockdown, when Larusta, like many of us, found himself isolated. It initially started out as a poem and grew into a profound and reflective song. On a lyrical note, Larusta’s songwriting ability shines bright as he takes listeners through a voyage of chaos and expansion.

Larusta reveals; “Writing this song, and a couple of others on the album, helped me immensely in overcoming a very difficult time in my life, when the world around me fell apart, in my private and my professional life through the lockdowns, I could only try to make sense of it all by writing down my ideas and immersing myself in these worlds.”
The accompanying music video features Larusta in a dark room, standing on a podium, staring incisively at the camera as he sings his heart out in an emotive and captivating manner. The video brilliantly brings across the theme of confusion, emotional turmoil and loneliness he experienced while writing the lyrics.
