Koala Voice offer intimate single and video, ‘The Bigger The City’

While touring, the Slovene four-piece Indie band Koala Voice has unveiled their latest single ‘The Bigger The City’ with an accompanying music video to bolster the mood. In it we see vocalist and guitarist Manca Trampuš, guitarist Domen Don Holc, drummer Miha Prašnikar and bass player Tilen Prašnikar, show us who they are, musically.

With their unique identity, Koala Voice convey an intimate warmth characteristic of a studio space made comfortable by familiar folks. Keys accent a saturated bed of guitar buzz, upon which reflective lyrics jump around, not ready to sleep just yet. 

Koala Voice describes the song’s subject: “This piece for me is about loneliness. About how sometimes in familiar company you feel alone and not understood. About how quickly people forget and how some things stay with us forever. About what it’s like to be big and feel small and about all the other variations of that phrase.”
