Into The Wild Festival makes its much-anticipated return this August 22–25, unveiling the first wave of programming for its eleventh edition. Known for blending wild landscapes with bold cultural offerings, the Sussex-based gathering has quietly evolved into one of the UK’s most heartfelt and unconventional festivals; an annual convergence of community, craft, and environmental action.
More than just a music festival, Into The Wild has become a seasonal ritual for over 5,000 attendees. Across fields and forests, it offers an ever-expanding universe of creative experiences: from immersive workshops to sunrise meditations, hand-built spas, foraging trails, and fire-lit cabarets. With over 200 workshops included in the ticket price, the 2025 edition promises its most adventurous programme yet, featuring ceramics, den building, wild chocolate-making, medicinal plant walks, flint knapping with prehistoric skills expert Will Lord, and more — all designed to spark reconnection with nature and self.
Music remains a central pulse, and this year’s early lineup reveals an eclectic global soundtrack: expect nomadic rhythms from Daraa Tribe (North Africa), sonic storytelling from Rajasthan’s Ustad Noor Bakhsh, the ethereal folk of Bethan Lloyd, Mongolian throat singing via Mongolian Odyssey, UK alt-rap from Viktus, and experimental fusions from collectives like Magic Tree and Ant Bahar Di. And that’s just the beginning.
Festival founder Huw Williams shares:
“We never set out to build a typical festival. Into The Wild has grown organically into a space where people of all ages come to play, learn, heal, and connect. It’s a celebration of nature, but also of community — and every year, the magic somehow deepens.”
True to its ethos, environmental and social impact is core to the festival’s DNA. In 2025, Into The Wild will host organisations such as WWF, Greenpeace, the Captain Paul Watson Foundation, the Twelve Step Fellowship, and the Sussex Wildlife Trust, alongside its own rewilding initiative Wilderlands CIC: supporting biodiversity, restoring habitat, and amplifying grassroots activism.
Rooted in the land yet always evolving, Into The Wild continues to offer something rare: a space where radical joy, wild learning, and deep ecology co-exist — all without losing its sense of play.
