R&B and Alt-pop sensation Cimo Fränkel shared a brand new cover, ‘Burning House(Live from Amsterdam)’, on the 16th of September via Cimo Fränkel/Awal. The single is taken from the recently released deluxe edition of his debut album Cimo Fränkel via Cimo Fränkel/Awal. Hailing from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Cimo relays that his music has been inspired by the works of Michael Jackson and Huey LewisCimo recalls that at the age of 15 he would explore music production and collaborate with other young and passionate Dutch musicians.

The track contains exquisite vocals that are like the sound of a rushing waterfall. The lyrics tell a  story about anguish and loss with impressive simplicity. The sound is fresh and crisp and uncomplicated. The melody is incredibly captivating and highlights the emotions behind the track.

Cimo’s words on the new single are that “I’ve always admired CAM as a singer, songwriter and artist. When I first heard ‘Burning House’ I fell in love with the melody and message of the song right away and was immediately inspired to make my own version of it”.
