It’s Friday afternoon, the weekend lies ahead filled with unhurried moments of relaxation and that Sunday morning breakfast that calls to everyone. Cujo Moon has shared the authentic indie-folk EP that will encourage moments of self-love and self-care. Bridges II is the second mark of the musician beginning his solo career, featuring songs such as ‘Watch You Shine’ and ‘Sing Your Song’. The EP also features a duet of Cujo Moon and the vocals of his life partner, Rae Mercedes.

Cujo shares his thoughts on the duet: “One highlight from the recording process was tracking vocals for Goodnight Black Sky with my partner Rae Mercedes – I’m so happy we did the duet. Her voice took the song to another level and really brought the narrative to life.”

The indie-folk musician is self-sufficient, writing and producing the EP completely alone as he prioritises venturing into new territories with each new release. Speaking of the creation of the EP, Cujo Moon tells us: “The songs are a mixture of new and old but the production style was a new venture entirely. The strings, percussive elements, and epic layering of sounds were entirely new for me in this genre. Maybe it was the residue leftover from having been in a psych-rock band for 4 years; I just couldn’t completely revert to acoustic guitar and vocals by themselves.[…] I’m not a fan of repeating the same sound over and over.”

On Facebook, Cujo Moon has hinted at new visuals accompanying one of the previously unreleased tracks. While he hasn’t revealed these new visuals just yet, we thoroughly recommend you check out some of his previous music videos – two of the outstanding options are ‘Watch You Shine’ and ‘With You’. Otherwise, if you’re simply in the moon for some lighthearted chilled music, we recommend you start off with ‘Sing Your Song’.
