This weekend Tokyo Police Club shared some exclusive videos via Canadian indie radio station Indie88 of the band rocking out three of their latest tracks off their brand new album, ‘TPC’, in Indie88’s Stiegl Hidden Studio. The group play the high energy ‘Hercules’, the rebellious ‘Pigs’ and the more introspective ‘Daisy Chain’.

The four-piece has just recently released their latest album, the first LP to come out of these modern rock legends in a whopping half a decade. And the wait is most certainly worth it. The new album, titled ‘TPC’, represents a cathartic turning point for these Canadian rockers, as it almost never saw the light of day. TPC frontman David Monks rallied the troops and managed to convince his fellow members that it was important to make another album, and just really enjoy doing so; bask in the writing, the playing, the recording, the producing, everything.

Listen to the new album, ‘TPC’, here.

Each track in the Indie88 live session is played expertly by Tokyo Police Club, but what really seals the deal is the energy that the band bring to their performance; it’s this vibrancy and enthusiasm that is the hallmark of the group’s new album, and we are loving how it’s seeping into every faction of their career.
