Rising star flowerovlove shares the video for her new single ‘Love You’, her radiant first offering of music in 2023.

Widescreen and swooningly romantic, flowerovlove’s spellbinding vocals are spotlighted in the song’s lush and textured soundscape, as she sings about the importance of celebrating universal love and camaraderie to coincide with Valentine’s Day.

The radiant and cinematic accompanying visual, directed by flowerovlove herself, depicts the young artist as she joyfully sings to different versions of herself. The video represents flowerovlove flawlessly, preaching her values of self-love and preserving the Earth.

Flowerovlove says of the track: “Love You is an incredibly magical song I wrote with my brother!! The song is about universal love, all inclusive love. This is a love song that can be sung about anyone – your mum, your dog, your best friend or even your grandmother!! Within the theme of love Valentine’s Day came to my mind as the song celebrates love, so releasing it close to Valentine’s day is perfect! I want everyone to feel nostalgia from love you and to be able to connect it to a loved one.”

Her recent EP “A Mosh Pit In The Clouds” showcased a captivating new direction in flowerovlove’s sound, following the infectious and playful indie rock riffs of previous singles “Get With You”, and the jovial and irrefutably danceable “I Gotta I Gotta”. Filled with dreamy cloud-like guitar melodies and expansive and driving percussive rhythms, flowerovlove’s honeyed and bright vocals are foregrounded in songs which reach heady new heights. The EP shines a light on flowerovlove’s versatility as an artist, from the whisper-soft, punchy pop-punk of “All The Same” to the sweetly emotive balladry of “Gone”, flowerovlove’s poise and confidence comes across in songs that detail the nervous excitement of youth, whimsical adventures of friendship and transformative joys of self-expression.

At just 17, flowerovlove is poised for superstardom, already hotly-tipped in the music & fashion world, being picked as one of i-D, CLASH, Notion and Nylon’s ones to watch for 2022 and NME, DIY, The Forty Five and PORTER’s ones to watch for 2023, and seeing her as the cover star on recent issues of Puss Puss, Notion, Mission Statement, BEAT and Blanc Magazine. She was Radio 1’s Future Artist Of The Month and named as one of VEVO and Amazon Music’s Artists To Watch for 2023.

Combining an affinity for nature with sunny, soothing melodies and introspective lyrics, flowerovlove released her debut EP “Think Flower” last year to wide acclaim. flowerovlove is a model in addition to being a singer-songwriter, having walked in Paris Fashion week for XULY.Bët, been the face of campaigns for brands such as Gucci and Maison Kitsuné, and sold out her first show at Laylow in London.

Inspired by artists such as Tame Impala, flowerovlove is a genius when it comes to combining her passions for music, nature and fashion into a flourishing whole, showcasing a wisdom and talent well beyond her years. She uses the symbol of a flower to depict the beauty of evolution and captivate listeners’ hearts, take over their headphones, and draw attention to sustainability and preserving the earth around us. She embraces self-love and growth, describing her music as “nostalgic, versatile, mellow, warm, and the feeling of home”.

2023 marks a brand new chapter for flowerovlove as an essential young artist and the ascent of her bright star continues.
