Saphira Record Label roster artist AISTÈ is readying to release her debut album The Theory of Everything in May, but before then she has something else to offer us: she has released a single, ‘What’s Going On’, in anticipation of the LP, giving listeners a sample of what they might expect from it.

Stream / Download: AISTÈ – ‘What’s Going On’

Reminiscent of the flower-power era, AISTÈ is all for liberty. That said, she also keeps things fun and light. She sings in subtle protest, searching for answers. Dissatisfied with the ones she has received, she yearns for a greater explanation, expressing her desire for something greater, better, and more satisfactory over an old-school rhythm and blues instrumental.

Addressing the world’s current social climate, she shares: “This song represents my attempt to articulate the social, economic, and cultural entropy we are currently experiencing. We are stronger and better when we are together.”

AISTÈ Tour Dates:

11th May – Album presentation concert – Strong Room, London
