A musician with a mixed bag of musical abilities, KID BE KID has stuck her hand in and pulled out her latest record ‘News Feed’. Signed with Fun In The Church label, the songstress announced that she will be dropping a full-length album. Titled Truly A Life Goal But No Ice Cream, the LP will feature both this latest track as well as her previously released single ‘Naked Times’.

Opening with claps and groovy piano, ‘News Feed’ already sets a mood before the catchphrase, or hook for all you music aficionados out there, is introduced. From there, listeners are guided through a soulful jam. The whole thing swims with a groovy backbeat and pocketed bassline. Then it breaks down into a beatbox solo, the signature marker of KID BE KID’s sound.
KID BE KID has been picked up by some noteworthy names in the business. In addition to receiving airplay from BBC Radio 1Xtra with DJ Jamz Supernova, she has been featured in the recognised publication Complex UK, which is unsurprising given that she contributed to numerous scores for the Netflix motion picture Rumspringa.
